Anger Assessment and Personal Plan

CONSUMER HEALTH INTERACTIVE

Some lucky people rarely get angry. Others must constantly struggle to control their tempers. Left unchecked, anger can be emotionally draining, even physically dangerous. Could your anger be hurting your relationships at home or at work? Use our interactive assessment to help you find out. Give some thought to each of the following questions, and rate your typical reactions. Remember, this test is for your eyes only, so answer honestly! (Note: This test was developed by Charles Spielberger, Ph.D., Director of the Center for Research in Behavioral Medicine and Health Psychology at the University of South Florida. It measures how often someone experiences anger. It does not measure how he or she expresses that anger.)
